Indie Rates for the Indie Author

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Studies from Illinois State University in 1995. My major GPA was 3.75/4.00.
My studies focused mostly on Grammar and English Dialect studies, but I also took a lot of Children's Literature courses.  I thought I wanted to write "Kiddie Lit," until I discovered how much fun it was to write about sex! :)
Honestly, I'm not going to pretend I know everything there is to know about the English language.  But if I don't know the answer, I WILL find out!

As I said before, I have two novels that are published on, and one in paperback. Both Childs' Proof and Childs Abduction will be in paperback soon, I'm just waiting on the paperback cover of the latter.

"Childs' Proof" - Secretary, and accomplished rubber-band ninja, Victoria Childs is having a rough time. Her boss is intolerable, her job is tedious, and to top it all off the vending machine steals her last quarter. She’s tired. She’s in a rut. She wants to get out from under it and find adventure. True excitement always seems just beyond her reach. But one evening, in her rush to leave the office for the weekend, she becomes a bit careless! Suddenly she is running for her life as her mundane world explodes into chaos around her. In desperation, she falls into the protective arms of the dazzling, yet somewhat impenetrable, Detective Varner. Is there honesty behind his angelic face? Can she trust him? Can she trust anyone? Can she even trust herself? Find out in Neeley Bratcher’s first novel, Childs’ Proof!

"Childs Abduction" - You met her in "Childs' Proof," when she was a frustrated secretary, finding her sea legs in the world of private investigations. Now as fall sets in over the quiet town of Brenton, Illinois, Vic receives the exciting news, from her sweet and sexy Detective, that she will be accompanying him "down home," to a Varner family wedding. The fun starts sooner than anticipated though, when someone breaks into her apartment. She quickly learns she may be the new target of a local sicko. She thinks the trip to New Orleans can't come soon enough. Surely the weirdo won't follow her there. Well, at least not on the same plane.
Never one to stay out of trouble and always in training, follow Victoria Childs, P.I., on her latest adventure, down on the bayou! You will laugh, cry, and make some other interesting noises while you're reading Neeley Bratcher's exciting sequel to "Childs' Proof", "CHILDS ABDUCTION!"

More information on my third novel coming soon!
